ČKD T3 tram no. 187 from 1974

The next successor, historically the most successful and the most used worldwide, were the T3 series trams produced by ČKD Praha. Thanks to constant modernizations of the electrical equipment, installation of electronic information and ticketing systems, interior modifications, and improvements in vehicle control and operation, the 'T3' will remain a typical symbol of many Czech as well as global cities for many years to come

A total of 128 piece of these trams in various modifications were delivered only in Pilsen between 1964 and 1987. In the 1990s another 11 older pieces were purchased from Prague. Compared to the other available 'T3' tram, tram No. 187 bears the marks of modifications from its original desing, thus documenting the desing and technological changes that some trams underwent. It has been intentionally preserved in the condition it was in after being retired from regular service for comparison between vehicles No. 187 and 192. The significant difference between these two trams is also evident in their color scheme.

The tram's seating capacity is 24 seats with standing room for up to 80 passengers.
